THE SPORTS COMBINE, LLC
The Sports Combine, LLC (“TSC”) is dedicated to helping athletes become safer, smarter and better. We are in the business of athletic performance testing and conduct combine events for amateur athletes of all ages. Our unique integrated approach considers an athlete’s physical state as well as their athletic ability. Each TSC Combine has two components: (1) a functional screening; and (2) performance testing.
Functional screenings are conducted by licensed medical professionals and examine athletes for predisposition to injury. By identifying areas of physical weakness we athletes avoid injury. Through our partner The Institute for Sport and Performance Excellence (“ISPE”) we also offer a mental skills screening designed to profile the psychological attributes of the athlete. This profile can be used to develop the mental skills necessary for optimum health and performance in sport.
TSC performance tests evaluate athletes to determine their performance level and athletic ability. Because different sports rely on different components of athleticism, each TSC Combine is custom designed to measure those qualities of athleticism most important for that sport. After completing the performance tests, each athlete is scored based on their results and given a ranking which can be used to track and measure future performance as well as for comparative analysis with other similarly aged athletes at a regional, state and national level.
